Doci is not merely a chair; it is a sculptural statement. Merging futuristic aesthetics with seamless, weatherproof utility, each piece is a numbered, hand-crafted masterwork designed for those who appreciate the intersection of form and function.

The signature rotation of the cover is the defining characteristic of Doci, allowing the user to engage with their surroundings effortlessly. When closed, Doci is a sculptural monument; when opened, it reveals a private sanctuary.

Achieving this required overcoming two significant challenges. First was the design of the spherical form itself. The lid is not a perfect sphere, but an organic shape, requiring meticulous hand-sculpting to ensure the rotation remains fluid and perfectly balanced against the body of the chair.

The second challenge lay in the pursuit of longevity. To ensure Doci holds an indefinite lifespan as a true work of art, I rejected standard manufacturing methods like injection molding, which fail under prolonged environmental exposure.

After extensive trials with every available composite, castable plastic, and foam, it became clear that only aerospace-grade fiberglass—often reinforced with carbon fiber—could provide the structural rigidity required. This material allows for the precision necessary for its complex movement while supporting a flawless, UV-protected automotive paint finish.

Every Doci is hand-constructed personally by the artist. These are not mass-produced objects, but pieces built to endure the elements while maintaining a level of finish typically reserved for the world’s finest automobiles.
